Kyouka
Born in 1978 in Fukuoka, Japan, I work as an IT infrastructure engineer.
I provide technical software support to the system administrators and engineers who keep the servers running behind the scenes of the internet.
Alongside my tech career, I have been practicing Japanese calligraphy (Shodo) for 35 years and hold a Nihon Shuji teaching license.
Rather than running my own school, I share insights from a learner's perspective as a dedicated practitioner who has loved learning the art for decades.
On this blog, I share a wide variety of topics related to Japanese calligraphy.
